Hobby farm Empty Hobby farm

Do you have or want a hobby farm? If so, what kind?
We thought of getting chickens & ducks but we like free range & didn't relish excrements all over lol Another issue is I hate the cold & having to go out to tend to animals in the dead of winter is not appealing.
